Growing up is a part and parcel of life. As kids or teenagers I'm sure that some or most of us want to grow up fast because of many reasons but to think back, life being young, not yet an adult is way simpler and less complicated as well. And not to mention, lesser responsibilities.

As a child, all they cry over most of their time is because of their lost toys, when they are hungry and not getting something to eat, hurt from falling at the playgrounds, and all those little things. Teenagers? They worry over school, relationships, friendships, work (as some may have to start earning their own money), family matters. Adults? Career, marriage, financial issues, bills, children, family matters.

So as you grow older, more and bigger roles of responsibilities comes in. In conclusion, don't be too looking forward to grow up. Just be happy with what age you are, and live your young moments! And being a grown up dosen't mean there is no fun with all those responsibilities because its all about work-life balance.

This year marks the year where I will be twenty years old. I remember when I was younger, I can't wait to become eighteen which is so called a 'leagal age' but to think back, twenty one sounds more like a leagal age to me now. And when I say this, it dosen't mean that I'm looking forward to be at that age. I may have to say goodbye to my teenage years soon and say hi to twenties, but its okay. I'll still be young at heart. :P

Kids always look forward to their birthdays because its a special day. But as people grow older, birthdays don't seem to be as fun as when they are younger. Reason being? For being older or because for some adults, they are too busy with their careers that they even forget about their own birthdays?
